Terroso

Dr. Barbara Terroso is excited to serve both Loganville-Springfield and York Township Elementary Schools as the assistant principal.

She began her career teaching learning support, first grade, and fifth grade at Stewartstown Elementary School in the South Eastern School District. She then came to Dallastown Area School District where she has had the privilege of working in many roles including elementary IST, elementary principal, middle school learning support, middle school intervention specialist, and middle school assistant principal.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg University in special education, master’s degree from Millersville University in elementary education, and principal certification and special education supervisory certification from Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College). Dr. Terroso earned her doctoral degree from Immaculata University.

Her free time is spent with her husband, Ben, who is the Dean of Students at DAIS, their five children, Korrine, Aaron, Bryna, Sydney, and Avery, and their granddaughter Genevieve. Also, they are anxiously awaiting the arrival of two more grandchildren this school year.

Dr. Terroso enjoys officiating field hockey, watching her daughter play field hockey at Yale University, watching her son play volleyball at St. John Fisher College, and cheering on her favorite teams the Philadelphia Eagles and the Duke Blue Devils. She also enjoys working out, visiting new places, and spending time with family and friends.
